A dream meeting… that quickly turned into a nightmare.
👉 Because facing this giant of cinema, Rathbone’s past caught up with him: his former stuttering came back full force.
“Ron Howard welcomed me super kindly, he even knew my name! He asked me to tell him about my music group… and then, I completely froze. I couldn’t get my words out. From that moment on, everything went downhill.”
Result? Rathbone left the interview convinced he had made a fool of himself. And as he candidly admits, he broke down in tears in his car, unable to digest the awkwardness.
